Hi all

we are off to visit and look at a therapeutic community for our lovely young lady.

someone sent me a lovely message

"other people gave your children a difficult past, you have given them a future"

I thought that was great!

Yes that was a lovely message and one to hold onto. I hope the visit went well, and look forward to hearing how it went.

Hi all

we are back- got snowed on along the M25 but did it in 2 hrs.

the place seems fine, lots of positives, they certainly are very used to young people with the same range of difficulties.

We are going to see a second place in Reading tomorrow it is very different in set up/ therapeutic approach to the one in Kent.

It is about matching her needs with what the therapeutic community offers and that is going to be a fine balance to strike.

the one in reading is obviously closer.

anyway- we are home, I am resting. I hurt in so many places! anyway this is about getting things set for our young lady.
